The Jefferson County Patriots basketball team (Dandridge, TN), dropped 56-37 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Science Hill Hilltoppers (Johnson City, TN)
The Hilltoppers now possess a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dobyns-Bennett for a 4A District 1 battle on Friday, January 12. Science Hill will confront a Indians team coming off a 62-53 non-league loss to Morristown-Hamblen West (Morristown, TN). The Indians record now stands at 8-8.
The Patriots (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Morristown-Hamblen East (Morristown, TN). The Hurricanes come into the 4A District 2 battle with a 16-5 record. In their last battle, Morristown-Hamblen East beat Hardin Valley Academy (Knoxville, TN), 82-74, in a non-league battle.
