Lake Washington Kangaroos (Kirkland, WA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Juanita Ravens (Kirkland, WA), 71-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Lake Washington upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Kangaroos host Mercer Island (Mercer Island, WA) to play the Islanders in a 3A KingCo bout on Friday, January 12. The Islanders go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Mercer Island lost 61-48 in their recent league bout against Bellevue (Bellevue, WA)

Next up, the Ravens play the Hazen Highlanders (Renton, WA) in a 3A KingCo bout, on Friday, January 12. Juanita will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Highlanders go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 70-30 league loss to Liberty (Issaquah, WA).
