Oregon High School Basketball - Kennedy trounces Salem Academy

The Kennedy Trojans (Mt. Angel, OR) basketball crushed the host Salem Academy Crusaders (Salem, OR), 62-38 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Western Christian (Salem, OR). The Pioneers go into the 2A Tri-River test with a 12-1 record. In their last test, Western Christian walloped Santiam (Mill City, OR), 63-54, in a league test.

The Crusaders now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Willamina for a 2A Tri-River test on Thursday, January 11. Salem Academy will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 71-67 league loss to Regis (Stayton, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-2.
