LaBrae Vikings (Leavittsburg, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Liberty Leopards (Youngstown, OH), 73-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, LaBrae upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Memorial (Campbell, OH) to play the Red Devils in a Mahoning Valley - Grey bout on Friday, January 12. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 8-3. Memorial won 53-47 in their recent league bout against Brookfield (Brookfield, OH)

Next up, the Leopards play the Champion Golden Flashes (Warren, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Grey bout, on Friday, January 12. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Golden Flashes come into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 55-52 league win over Crestview (Columbiana, OH).
