In Tuesday's league outing, the Peekskill Red Devils (Peekskill, NY) basketball squad felled the visiting Lakeland Hornets (Shrub Oak, NY), by a margin of 69-49.
The Red Devils (8-0) will now prepare for their outing against Hendrick Hudson (Montrose, NY). The Sailors go into the Section 1 Conference 2C outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Hendrick Hudson was beaten by Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY), 55-50, in a league outing.
The Hornets now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Sleepy Hollow for a Section 1 Conference 2C outing on Thursday, January 11. Lakeland will encounter a Horsemen squad coming off a 75-45 non-league loss to Haldane (Cold Spring, NY). The Horsemen record now stands at 3-7.
