The South Lyon East Cougars basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Lakeland Eagles to 37 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Lyon for a Lakes Valley contest on Friday, January 12. South Lyon East will battle a Lions team coming off a 66-58 league win over Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Lions record now stands at 3-8.

The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Milford (Highland, MI). The Mavericks come into the Lakes Valley contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Milford triumphed over Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI), 37-31, in a league contest.
