The Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots basketball team (Mayville, ND), was nudged 59-52 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Larimore Polar Bears (Larimore, ND)

The Polar Bears now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hatton/Northwood for a B District 4 contest on Friday, January 12. Larimore will meet a Thunder team coming off a 77-40 non-league loss to Northern Cass (Hunter, ND). The Thunder record now stands at 4-4.

The Patriots (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Warwick (Warwick, ND). The Warriors enter the B District 4 contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Warwick was nudged by Midway/Minto (Inkster, ND), 70-58, in a non-league contest.
