Mabank Panthers (Mabank, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lindale Eagles (Lindale, TX), 67-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Mabank upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Canton (Canton, TX) to play the Eagles in a 4A Region II District 16 bout on Friday, January 19. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-12.

Next up, the Eagles play the Athens Hornets (Athens, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 bout, on Friday, January 12. Lindale will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 11-13 record after their 64-43 league win over Van (Van, TX).
