    • West Virginia High School Basketball - Linsly trounces Weir

    January 9, 2024: Wheeling, WV 26003

    The Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) basketball crushed the visiting Weir Red Riders (Weirton, WV), 91-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.

    The Cadets (10-0) will now prepare for their test against Carrollton (Carrollton, OH). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 2-9 record.

    The Red Riders now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Steubenville for a Ohio Valley AAAAA test on Thursday, January 11. Weir will encounter a Big Red squad coming off a 76-61 non-league loss to East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH). The Big Red record now stands at 4-4.
