The Shell Lake Lakers basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Luck Cardinals to 37 in the Lakers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lakers now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Webster for a Lakeland - West contest on Friday, January 12. Shell Lake will meet a Tigers team coming off a 59-58 league win over Grantsburg (Grantsburg, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 8-2.
The Cardinals (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Siren (Siren, WI). The Dragons enter the Lakeland - West contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Siren ran past Clear Lake (Clear Lake, WI), 63-57, in a league contest.
