Salem Seminoles (Conyers, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA), 68-64 in a league bout.

With the win, Salem upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Seminoles travel to Cross Creek (Augusta, GA) to clash with the Razorbacks in a AAA Region 4 bout on Friday, January 12. The Razorbacks go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Cross Creek won 54-39 in their recent league bout against Harlem (Harlem, GA)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Hephzibah Rebels (Hephzibah, GA) in a AAA Region 4 bout, on Friday, January 12. Morgan County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 66-33 non-league win over Jefferson County (Louisville, GA).
