The Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) basketball nipped the visiting Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME), 52-46 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Medomak Valley got by Erskine Academy (South China, ME), 73-57, in a non-league test.
The Black Raiders now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Waterville for a non-league test on Friday, January 12. Winslow will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 34-30 league loss to Winthrop (Winthrop, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 3-7.
