Ninnekah Owls (Ninnekah, OK) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sterling Tigers (Sterling, OK), 57-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ninnekah upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Owls travel to Verden (Verden, OK) to play the Tigers in a Grady County bout on Friday, January 12. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Verden won 65-33 in their recent league bout against Rush Springs (Rush Springs, OK)

Next up, the Tigers play the Alex Longhorns (Alex, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Sterling will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 57-23 league loss to Amber-Pocasset (Amber, OK).
