In Tuesday's non-league outing, the North Polars (North St. Paul, MN) basketball squad edged the host St. Thomas Academy Cadets (Mendota Heights, MN), by a margin of 64-59.

The Polars (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Stillwater (Stillwater, MN). The Ponies go into the non-league outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Stillwater held off Irondale (New Brighton, MN), 68-49, in a league outing.

The Cadets now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mahtomedi for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 11. St. Thomas Academy will clash with a Zephyrs squad coming off a 61-48 non-league win over Hastings (Hastings, MN). The Zephyrs record now stands at 3-8.
