Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oologah Mustangs (Oologah, OK), 71-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sequoyah upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Eagles host Adair (Adair, OK) to play the Warriors in a Five Lakes bout on Thursday, January 11. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Adair lost 50-44 in their recent league bout against Kansas (Kansas, OK)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Jay Bulldogs (Jay, OK) in a Verdigris Valley bout, on Friday, January 12. Oologah will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 48-45 non-league win over Grove (Grove, OK).
