The Shaler Area Titans basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Penn Hills Indians to 52 in the Titans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Titans now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Armstrong for a WPIAL 5A 2 contest on Friday, January 12. Shaler Area will meet a River Hawks team coming off a 50-38 league loss to Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA). The River Hawks record now stands at 8-5.

The Indians (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Plum (Pittsburgh, PA). The Mustangs enter the WPIAL 5A 2 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Plum was defeated by Woodland Hills (Pittsburgh, PA), 57-45, in a league contest.
