Alabama High School Basketball - Pennington can't hold off Susan Moore

The Susan Moore Bulldogs basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Pennington Tigers to 57 in the Bulldogs league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vinemont for a 3A Area 13 contest on Friday, January 12. Susan Moore will battle a Eagles team coming off a 43-41 league loss to Brindlee Mountain (Guntersville, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 10-9.
The Tigers (7-16) will now prepare for their match against Brindlee Mountain (Guntersville, AL). The Lions enter the 3A Area 13 match with a 9-11 record. In their last match, Brindlee Mountain nudged Vinemont (Vinemont, AL), 43-41, in a league match.
