The Tolar Rattlers basketball team (Tolar, TX), was overwhelmed 58-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Poolville Monarchs (Poolville, TX)
The Monarchs now possess a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ranger for a 2A Region II District 11 battle on Friday, January 12. Poolville will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 75-7 league loss to De Leon (De Leon, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-7.
The Rattlers (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Lipan (Lipan, TX). The Indians come into the 2A Region II District 11 battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Lipan trounced Hico (Hico, TX), 51-21, in a league battle.
