The Pirates now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Samuell for a 5A Region II District 12 battle on Friday, January 12. Poteet will confront a Spartans team coming off a 80-29 league win over Spruce (Dallas, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 14-5.
The Dragons (16-6) will now prepare for their battle against Conrad (Dallas, TX). The Chargers come into the 5A Region II District 12 battle with a 11-10 record.
