Resurrection Christian Cougars (Loveland, CO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO), 96-45 in a league bout.
With the victory, Resurrection Christian upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host University (Greeley, CO) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A Patriot bout on Thursday, January 11. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 3-8. University won 77-47 in their recent non-league bout against Platte Valley (Kersey, CO)
Next up, the Rebels play the Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) in a 4A Patriot bout, on Thursday, January 11. Weld Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 58-41 league loss to Eaton (Eaton, CO).
