New Mexico High School Basketball - Rio Rancho falls to Sandia

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Sandia Matadors basketball team scored a good 72-62 triumph over the Rio Rancho Rams.

In their next game, the Matadors meet the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 10. Sandia will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a 8-4 record after their 53-38 non-league win over Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM).

With the defeat, Rio Rancho moves to 6-6 on the year. The Rams travel to Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM) to meet the Knights in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 10.
