With the victory, San Antonio Christian upgrades its record to 23-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Saint Mary's Hall (San Antonio, TX) to play the Barons in a TAPPS 5A District 4 bout on Friday, January 12. The Barons come into the bout with a record of 11-11. Saint Mary's Hall lost 69-67 in their recent league bout against St. Augustine (Laredo, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds (Brownsville, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 4 bout, on Saturday, January 13. TMI-Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 13-16 season record. The Bloodhounds come into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 81-75 league loss to St. Anthony (San Antonio, TX).
