South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Mifflin Titans (West Mifflin, PA), 70-57 in a league bout.

With the win, South Allegheny upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA) to play the Quakers in a WPIAL 4A 4 bout on Friday, January 12. The Quakers go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Quaker Valley lost 61-58 in their recent league bout against Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA)

Next up, the Titans play the East Allegheny Wild Cats (North Versailles, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 4 bout, on Friday, January 12. West Mifflin will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Wild Cats go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 77-29 league loss to Montour (McKees Rocks, PA).
