Ohio High School Basketball - St. Clairsville edges Union Local

The St. Clairsville Red Devils (St. Clairsville, OH) basketball nipped the host Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH), 68-66 in Tuesday's league test.

The Red Devils (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Beaver (Lisbon, OH). The Beavers go into the Buckeye 8 test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Beaver was tipped by Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH), 77-63, in a league test.

The Jets now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bellaire for a Buckeye 8 test on Friday, January 12. Union Local will encounter a Big Reds squad coming off a 51-46 league loss to Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH). The Big Reds record now stands at 4-7.
