With the victory, Tennessee improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN) to confront the Patriots in a 3A District 1 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Sullivan East won 73-65 in their recent non-league challenge against North Greene (Greeneville, TN)

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones (Elizabethton, TN) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Unicoi County will attempt to improve on its 17-5 season record. The Fighting Cyclones come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 64-49 league loss to David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN).
