The Woodward Polar Bears basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Waite Indians to 68 in the Polar Bears league triumph on Tuesday.

The Polar Bears now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rogers for a Toledo City contest on Friday, January 12. Woodward will meet a Rams team coming off a 35-32 league win over Start (Toledo, OH). The Rams record now stands at 4-8.

The Indians (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lima Senior (Lima, OH). The Spartans enter the Toledo City game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Lima Senior was nipped by Wayne (Huber Heights, OH), 72-42, in a non-league game.
