The Albany Cougars basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Hercules Titans to 28 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Cerrito for a contest on Friday, January 12. Albany will battle a Gauchos team coming off a 43-36 league loss to Bethel (Vallejo, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 2-6.

The Titans (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Deer Valley (Antioch, CA). The Wolverines come into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Deer Valley was defeated by Heritage (Brentwood, CA), 53-44, in a league contest.
