Georgia High School Basketball - Alcovy fells Mundy's Mill

Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mundy's Mill Tigers (Jonesboro, GA), 53-34 in a league bout.
With the win, Alcovy upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA) to play the Wildcats in a AAAAAA Region 3 bout on Friday, January 12. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Lovejoy lost 73-42 in their recent league bout against Morrow (Morrow, GA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Forest Park Panthers (Forest Park, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 3 bout, on Friday, January 12. Mundy's Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record.
