Anacoco Indians (Anacoco, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Elizabeth Bulldogs (Elizabeth, LA), 75-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Anacoco upgrades its record to 25-4 on the season. The Indians travel to Pitkin (Pitkin, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a B District 4 bout on Friday, January 12. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 18-11. Pitkin won 56-52 in their recent non-league bout against East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Hicks Pirates (Leesville, LA) in a B District 4 bout, on Friday, January 12. Elizabeth will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 25-2 record after their 68-56 league win over Oak Hill (Hineston, LA).
