Nashville Hornets (Nashville, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats (Anna, IL), 76-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Nashville upgrades its record to 18-2 on the season. The Hornets host Triad (Troy, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Triad won 49-28 in their recent league bout against Waterloo (Waterloo, IL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Goreville Blackcats (Goreville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Anna-Jonesboro will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Blackcats go into the bout with a 19-2 record after their 63-30 league win over Sesser-Valier/Waltonville (Sesser, IL).
