Marked Tree Indians (Marked Tree, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Armorel Tigers (Armorel, AR), 58-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Marked Tree upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Buffalo Island Central won 74-31 in their recent league bout against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the West Memphis Christian Black Knights (West Memphis, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Armorel will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Black Knights go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 69-34 league loss to DeSoto (West Helena, AR).
