Bayard Tigers (Bayard, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Morrill Lions (Morrill, NE), 58-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bayard upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Leyton (Dalton, NE) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 10-0. Leyton won 43-39 in their recent non-league bout against Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE)

Next up, the Lions play the Minatare Indians (Minatare, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Morrill will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 47-24 non-league loss to Garden County (Oshkosh, NE).
