Bearden Bears (Bearden, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Southeast Arkansas Prep (Pine Bluff, AR), 2-0 in a league bout.

With the win, Bearden upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Bears travel to Hermitage (Hermitage, AR) to play the Hermits in a 1A Region 8 bout on Friday, January 12. The Hermits go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Hermitage lost 61-31 in their recent league bout against Emerson (Emerson, AR)

Next up, the play the Bearden Bears (Bearden, AR) in a 1A Region 8 bout, on Friday, February 2. Southeast Arkansas Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
