Valley Rams (Valley, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Beauregard Hornets (Opelika, AL), 41-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Valley upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Rams travel to LaFayette (LaFayette, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-8.

Next up, the Hornets play the Tallassee Tigers (Tallassee, AL) in a 5A Area 7 bout, on Thursday, January 11. Beauregard will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record.
