With the victory, South Plaquemines upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Phoenix (Braithwaite, LA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 11-12. Phoenix lost 57-23 in their recent non-league bout against Slidell (Slidell, LA)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Phoenix Spartans (Braithwaite, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Belle Chasse will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 12-12 record after their 63-19 non-league win over South Plaquemines (Buras, LA).
