The Bend Lava Bears basketball team (Bend, OR), was overwhelmed 73-51 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Mountain View Cougars (Bend, OR)
The Cougars now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Summit for a 5A Intermountain battle on Friday, January 12. Mountain View will confront a Storm team coming off a 69-52 league loss to Redmond (Redmond, OR). The Storm record now stands at 6-5.
The Lava Bears (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Ridgeview (Redmond, OR). The Ravens come into the 5A Intermountain battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Ridgeview was overwhelmed by Caldera (Bend, OR), 45-38, in a league battle.
