Benson Tech Techmen (Portland, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR), 79-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Benson Tech upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Techmen travel to Butler (Chicago, IL) to play the Lynx in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 12-9.

Next up, the Quakers play the Grant Generals (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland bout, on Friday, January 12. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Generals go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 54-37 league win over Lincoln (Portland, OR).
