Alabama High School Basketball - Berry ripped by Brilliant

The Brilliant Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Berry Wildcats to 35 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marion County for a 1A Area 11 contest on Friday, January 12. Brilliant will meet a Red Raiders team coming off a 51-40 non-league loss to Sulligent (Sulligent, AL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 9-9.

The Wildcats (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hubbertville (Fayette, AL). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Hubbertville triumphed over Lynn (Lynn, AL), 41-22, in a league contest.
