Illinois High School Basketball - Bloom knocked off by Thornton

The Thornton Wildcats basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Bloom Blazing Trojan to 43 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rich Township for a Southland contest on Thursday, January 11. Thornton will battle a Raptors team coming off a 54-26 league win over Crete-Monee (Crete, IL). The Raptors record now stands at 13-7.
The Blazing Trojan (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Chicago Marshall (Chicago, IL). The Commandos enter the non-league contest with a 13-7 record.
