The Breckenridge Huskies basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Merrill Vandals to 30 in the Huskies league victory on Tuesday.

The Huskies now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vestaburg for a Mid-State contest on Thursday, January 11. Breckenridge will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 57-46 league loss to Fulton (Middleton, MI). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-3.

The Vandals (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Mustangs come into the Mid-State contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Montabella was defeated by Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 37-31, in a league contest.
