In Tuesday's league outing, the Briarfield Academy Rebels (Lake Providence, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Union Christian Academy Lions (Farmerville, LA), by a margin of 45-16.
The Rebels (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against Sharkey Issaquena Academy (Rolling Fork, MS). The Confederates go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record.
The Lions now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Northeast Baptist for a MAIS 2A District 4 outing on Friday, January 12. Union Christian Academy will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 67-4 league loss to Riverdale Academy (Coushatta, LA). The Knights record now stands at 0-8.
