    • Texas High School Basketball - Brownwood crushes Mineral Wells

    January 9, 2024: Brownwood, TX 76801

    Brownwood Lions (Brownwood, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mineral Wells Rams (Mineral Wells, TX), 44-18 in a league bout.

    With the win, Brownwood upgrades its record to 17-9 on the season. The Lions travel to Graham (Graham, TX) to play the Steers in a 4A Region I District 6 bout on Friday, January 12. The Steers go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Graham lost 46-24 in their recent league bout against Stephenville (Stephenville, TX)

    Next up, the Rams play the Glen Rose Tigers (Glen Rose, TX) in a 4A Region I District 6 bout, on Friday, January 12. Mineral Wells will attempt to upgrade on its 15-11 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 22-3 record after their 70-19 league win over Brownwood (Brownwood, TX).
