The St. Mary's Knights basketball team (Sleepy Eye, MN), was toppled 60-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN)
The Mustangs now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wabasso for a non-league battle on Friday, January 12. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will confront a Rabbits team coming off a 54-49 non-league loss to Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN). The Rabbits record now stands at 4-9.
The Knights (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Springfield (Springfield, MN). The Tigers come into the A Section 2 battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Springfield beat Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN), 69-57, in a league battle.
