Byron Bears (Byron, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cannon Falls Bombers (Cannon Falls, MN), 74-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Byron upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Pine Island (Pine Island, MN) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Pine Island lost 48-26 in their recent non-league bout against Blooming Prairie (Blooming Prairie, MN)

Next up, the Bombers play the Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN) in a AA Section 1 bout, on Thursday, January 11. Cannon Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 60-43 league win over Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN).
