The Carbon Hill Bulldogs (Carbon Hill, AL) basketball nipped the host Meek Tigers (Arley, AL), 40-37 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Oakman (Oakman, AL). The Wildcats go into the 3A Area 10 test with a 0-12 record. In their last test, Oakman was tipped by Winfield (Winfield, AL), 55-20, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Winston County for a non-league test on Thursday, January 11. Meek will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 58-36 league loss to Lamar County (Vernon, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-13.
