The Palestine-Wheatley Patriots basketball team scored 33 points and restricted the host Carlisle Bison to 27 in the Patriots league victory on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McCrory for a 2A Region 6 contest on Friday, January 12. Palestine-Wheatley will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 57-20 league loss to Des Arc (Des Arc, AR). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-9.

The Bison (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Lee (Marianna, AR). The Trojans come into the 2A Region 6 contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Lee was nudged by Barton (Lexa, AR), 46-5, in a league contest.
