In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Concord Pirates basketball team scored a good 63-46 triumph over the Viola Longhorns.
In their next game, the Pirates meet the Shirley Blue Devils (Shirley, AR) in a 1A Region 2 match, on Thursday, January 11. Concord will attempt to move on its 20-4 season record.
With the defeat, Viola moves to 5-16 on the year. The Longhorns host Rural Special (Fox, AR) to meet the Rebels in a 1A Region 2 match on Friday, January 12. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 7-8.
