Mississippi High School Basketball - Pontotoc overwhelms Corinth

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) and the host Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS), saw Pontotoc's basketball squad wallop Corinth by a tally of 91-32.
With the victory, Pontotoc improves its record to 19-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Lafayette (Oxford, MS) to play the Commodores in a 5A Region 1 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Commodores come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Lafayette won 58-44 in their recent league challenge against New Hope (Columbus, MS)
Next up, the Warriors play the Clarksdale Wildcats (Clarksdale, MS) in a 5A Region 1 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Corinth will attempt to improve on its 0-19 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 37-32 league loss to West Point (West Point, MS).
