Rhode Island High School Basketball - Cranston East crushes Mt. Pleasant

Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI), 66-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Cranston East upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Thunderbolts travel to Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI) to play the Huskies in a Division 2 bout on Thursday, January 11. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Mt. Hope lost 68-44 in their recent league bout against Moses Brown (Providence, RI)

Next up, the Kilties play the Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) in a Division 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
