The Jefferson Silver Foxes basketball team (El Paso, TX), was overwhelmed 65-18 in Tuesday's league battle with the host El Paso Tigers (El Paso, TX)
The Tigers now possess a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burges for a 5A Region I District 1 battle on Friday, January 12. El Paso will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 52-33 league win over Chapin (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 18-6.
The Silver Foxes (3-16) will now prepare for their battle against Andress (El Paso, TX). The Eagles come into the 5A Region I District 1 battle with a 11-13 record. In their last battle, Andress was overwhelmed by Canutillo (Canutillo, TX), 47-41, in a league battle.
